Attendance
Here at Biddick Primary School, we want our children to 'BE THE BEST THEY CAN BE' and believe passionately that every school day matters. We value parental support in ensuring our children develop good habits of attendance and punctuality, as being in school on time every day will give your child the best possible chance of learning and making progress.
How you can help:
- Be aware of the impact of regular absences on your child's education.
- Make sure your child arrives on time.
- Notify us before 9.30 a.m. if your child is absent.
- Avoid taking holidays during term time.
- Try to make non-urgent medical and dental appointments outside school hours.
- Keep your child off in line with infection control guidelines but send them in as soon as they're better - even if it is a Friday!
- If your child is just feeling a little under the weather, send them into school; we'll monitor them and contact you if they become unwell.
